A lot of people are thinking that google local map is google local seo.

But the truth is you want to show up multiple times on the front page of any search engine multiple times for the keywords related to your business.

First you go for the low hanging fruit keyword.

Then you go for the next best and so on.

Many companies pay per click and have great budgets but neglect to spend on seo to be able to get that organic traffic for free for years to come.

I would guess that is part of the instant gratification society we live in.

But mostly due to ingnorance.

Here we are another year is passing by.

I hope that 2009 was a great year for you.

I was an incredible journey for me.

Many doors opened.

A few closed.

I enjoyed many old friends and made many new.

We helped hundreds of local businesses this year dominate the web.

And are gearing up to help 5x as many this year.

This year I am taking two books to heart:

1.  The Purple Cow by Seth Goden

2. The 4 hour work week by Tim Ferriss

2010 will be the year I make myself and my businesses be REMARKABLE.

2010 will be the year that I create my life style design.

If you haven’t read these two books I highly recommend them both and ASAP!

Hmmm…

Do you think that this is a massive movement that needs serious consideration from every small business owner?

Today many companies are trying to figure out how to use social media to expand their brand.

And most marketing agencies are telling these clueless companies to give stuff away for free.

While this may or may not be a good idea for most businesses it is a great time to be a consumer. (I would say that is really has to be looked at from a cost effective stand point.)

So if you have favorite brands, products or services check them out on Facebook and Twitter and see if they give away stuff for being their fan or follower.

In todays economy everybody wants something for free.  So go get yours!

When google rules what they serve when people “google” key words for your business you need to know how to play by their rules and they say… data not design!

But I have to hear about this look that look etc.
