Recent Twitter studies

2 June 2009 by Matt Prados, 3 Comments

I have recently been doing some study on twitter and how people or tweeple if you will use this service.

Some points of interest:

Twitter strategies can be used as local seo strategies.

Twitter can be automated but at what point does it become spam?

Twitter is a gold mine because people are using the service more and more.

I would say that twitter has not even really been figured out yet as to how to fully use it to its fullest.

I would like to have your comments on what you think twitter is best used for.

I will then take these comments and create a survey which I will survey tweeple.

Then I will share these results on this blog for all to use.

Twitter can be used as a chat with your friends. I used Instant messages on twitter with my work mates until IM service stopped working. We saw twitter as a way to tell to the others “coffee break??”

Twitter is a moving target with many many ducks. You never know who is going to pop up among your followers and that is one of the things that makes it so darn interesting. If you spend any more than a few minutes at a time noodling around (ie: a few RT’s, a few @’s, a few Tweets, a few follows, etc.) you are pretty much assured a good time and interesting engagement.
If you don’t cast your net, you’ll never eat fish!
